What is Step Up. Step In?
Step Up. Step In. is a collaborative movement to prevent sexual harassment and sexual bullying among youth in Georgia. The movement works to engage teens, adults, partners and allies through a variety of activities that help communities identify and stop sexual bullying from occurring between youth. The goal is to stop the potential for escalating sexual violence.
Sexual bullying includes a broad category of behavior, like unwanted touching and groping, sexting, spreading sexually charged rumors, picking on someone for his or her perceived sexual orientation and more. It can be violent or non-violent.
Step Up. Step In. is led by the Georgia Network to End Sexual Assault (GNESA) and sexual assault centers across Georgia.
